Yes, to join up to the MShop network we require an initial payment. MShop UK charges a onetime only registration fee because we only want serious job applicants filling out our surveys. If we allowed access to the surveys for free we would have "curiosity" applicants filling out applications that were not really serious about becoming a Mystery Shopper, and taking up applications intended for serious job applicants.
Since a mystery shopper taker can easily make the application fee back in only about an hour online, we don't really see it as a fee, but a way to show you are serious about being an online mystery shopper.
This depends entirely on what task you are asked to do. We have offers that require just a few minutes of your time and will pay a few pounds, you can try out online services such as film rental or credit checks and get paid up to £10, we have free trial offers of products where you can be reimbursed up to £25 even up to £200 just for trying out gaming establishments.
Currently we pay our shoppers via using PayPal. Payments are made on a monthly basis providing you complete the necessary amount of work to reach the payout minimum. This does not include the money you can make direct from working with companies we put you in touch with.
